Project Rebound has been instrumental in my collegiate success. It does more than offer support and guidance; it creates a community of belonging where those of us with shared experience can network, build each other up, and collaborate on initiatives that continue the work of providing resources and opportunities for the students who come after us.

Project Rebound has been here every step of my journey towards furthering my college education since being home. I beat myself year after year for being the only one out of my eight siblings to have been incarcerated. While being incarcerated, I made it a personal mission to balance out that personal shame by being the first of something in my family that was far more significant. I am a First-Generation college student, and Project Rebound has provided me with the opportunity to bring that goal to fruition and the encouragement, support, and guidance that I will need during this journey.
