The California State University (CSU) shall reimburse actual and necessary moving and relocation expenses or payment for reasonable estimated moving and relocation expenses under specific circumstances.

Moving & Relocation Per Diem Rate Increase
The General Services Administration increased the per diem rates as of 10/01/2024.
The per diem rate for moving and relocation has increased to $68.00 (per person, per
day).

Relocation Approval Matrix

Awards of $75,000+ requires approval from the Chancelor of the CSU.
