Post-Arrival Checklist

Welcome to CSU Bakersfield! Make sure to complete the following important steps after arriving:

  • Attend Mandatory International Orientation

Orientation is mandatory and provides key information on immigration policies, academics, and campus life.

  • Meet With An Academic Advisor (if you have not done so already)

All students are required to meet with an academic advisor anytime an advising hold is present in their my乐播传媒app最新版本 portal. You should keep in contact with your advisor on a regular basis. Your advisor's information can be found on the home page of your my乐播传媒app最新版本 portal.

  • Undergraduate students must be enrolled in at least 12 units per semester.
  • Graduate students must be enrolled in at least 6 units per semester.
  • Only in-person or hybrid courses count toward full-time status.
  • Pay Your Tuition and Fees

Tuition is due the Thursday before the semester begins. Bills for things like tuition and registration fees are posted on your my乐播传媒app最新版本 account.

  • Purchase Health Insurance (if you have not done so already)

All international students are required to have valid health insurance while studying at 乐播传媒app最新版本. The link for purchase will be emailed to you. If you are sponsored by a government scholarship or on an athletic scholarship, your health insurance will be purchased for you.

  • Submit Your Immunization Records

All students under age 19 must submit proof of vaccination or exemption to remove registration holds.

Create a Runner Sync account to explore clubs, events, and connect with other students.
Sign up at: csub.presence.io

  • Submit Your I-94 Arrival Record

Find your I-94 at https://i94.cbp.dhs.gov 鈫� Click "View Travel History" to download. Email a copy of your I-94 to csubis@csub.edu.
