CSU Bakersfield offers both Bachelor of Science (B.S.) and Master of Science (M.S.) degrees in Biology. The B.S. in Biology carries an option for a concentration in Biotechnology.

In addition to the basic B.S. degree, Biology majors may choose to focus on Pre-Graduate School preparation, Pre-Medical/Allied Health preparation, or Clinical Science/Medical Technology.

We also offer a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Human Biological Sciences and a B.S. in Natural Sciences, for those students interested in becoming physician assistants or high school science teachers.
