About Us
Accounting and Reporting Services, University Advancement, is a department within the Business and Administrative Services division with a dotted line to the University Advancement division.
What We Do
Our team accounts for the financial transactions of the University Advancement division and the Foundation auxiliary in accordance with the policies and procedures of the California State University Auxiliary Organization's Accounting and Reporting System. This unit ensures all income and expenditures of the Foundation and University Advancement are received, disbursed, and recorded, and all accounting, reporting and reconciliation functions are performed in accordance with related law and policy.
Our team is responsible for all financial reporting and accounting functions for University Advancement and Foundation. Our goal is to maintain the integrity of financial data through the preparation of monthly account analyses and reconciliations. Our services include preparing financial statements, tax returns, and various monthly reconciliations, as well as processing expenditure transfer requests, and reporting of financial data to external and internal entities.
