Jim Scully
Jim Scully is a composer, performer and educator in the fields of contemporary classical music and jazz studies. Scully holds degrees in music from and and has previously taught at Bakersfield College and UC Irvine. His teaching responsibilities at 乐播传媒app最新版本 include courses in Music Theory, Jazz Studies, Composition and Music Technology. In addition, he is busy as Director of the 乐播传媒app最新版本 Jazz Collective and the Bakersfield Jazz Festival.
As a composer, Scully is an ASCAPlus Award winner, and has received grants from American Composers Forum, University Research Council and the Teacher Learning Center at CSU Bakersfield. He has had works commissioned and performed by Trio C茅leste, Keith Calmes, and others.
