Instructional Television
The Instructional Television Network (ITV) offers regular 乐播传媒app最新版本 courses over fully interactive two-way video. Classes and events are transmitted over live closed-circuit television.
ITV has a total of 6 studios. 3 are located at the main Bakersfield campus and 3 are in the Antelope Valley campus location. In Bakersfield you will find Studio A, Studio B, and Studio C. In Antelope Valley you will find Rm 121 (formerly Studio E), Rm 123 (formerly Studio D), and Rm 124.
Studio C, Studio B, Rm 121, and Rm 123 feature full high definition 2 way video. Studio A and Rm 124 are slated for update to Zoom Rooms in the 25/26 academic year.
Although the ITV facility is generally used for Distant Learning live classes, the facility can be booked for other things. The ITV classrooms are available to standard classes on request. Clubs can also rent out the classrooms for their events through 25Live. If you need to book an ITV classroom to record lectures or presentations, please reach out to Academic Technology staff to book a space.
Students
As a student in ITV you may find your teacher in a different city during instruction. If this is the case and you need support, please do not sit quietly and hope that someone will notice. Please reach out as quickly as possible to staff.
In Antelope Valley, ITV staff can normally be found in the tech room located between RM 121 and 123. In Bakersfield you will typically need to call someone. All students can call for support. You can reach support by dialing 661-654-4357. However, we recommend you press the "IT help" speed-dial button on the classroom phone instead for faster service.
Teachers
Both Bakersfield and Antelope Valley offer the same teaching technologies. It's important to note that each site has its own limitations and perks. In some ways a similar approach to teaching materials needs to be adopted for ITV instruction as you would for a live online course.
Both the Antelope Valley and the Bakersfield campuses have dedicated staff to ensuring a positive teaching and learning experience with ITV.
