Eli Swanson Presents at GSA Connects 2025
On Monday, October 20, 乐播传媒app最新版本 geology undergraduate Elijah Swanson gave an oral presentation about his research at the international Geological Society of America Annual Meeting in San Antonio, Texas. His presentation, Pressure Solution of Calcite Surfaces Under Saturated CaCO3 Solution, is based on research he performed during his summer internship at Lawrence Berkley National Labratory (LBNL) and at 乐播传媒app最新版本. His coauthors were mentors Melese Dessie, Benjamin Gilbert (both from LBNL), and Liaosha Song (乐播传媒app最新版本 geologist). This research is supported by a $2.25 million collaborative Department of Energy grant entitled Nanopore Characterization for H2 and CO2 Geologic Storage (Liaosha Song is the lead PI on the grant).
