One of the most important Earth Science meetings every year is run by the . This year's GSA meeting was in Anaheim, CA, so 乐播传媒app最新版本 Geology turned out in force. Students presented posters about their research on mine tailings and their experiences working at the Smithsonian Institution; they attended field trips run by GSA; and they served as the main face of the department at the 乐播传媒app最新版本 booth (thanks to them and Cecily for doing a great job!).

乐播传媒app最新版本 Geology professors gave talks about their research on caprock characterization using the X-Ray synchrotron at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, novel teaching approaches with generative AI, and whether the San Andreas fault exists in northern California. We even had Dr. Herman lead a short course on the thermal effects of mountain building, which Dr. Krugh attended.
