Bernard C. Barmann, Sr. - Barmann is the former County Counsel, Chief Civil Attorney, for the County of Kern, a post he held for 25 years before retiring in 2009. For the past 11 years, Scott has served as superintendent of the Lost Hills Union School District. Scott has served on numerous community boards including the Mendiburu Magic Foundation and Michael Stewart Foundation, and has amassed many community awards and recognitions including being inducted into the Kern County Official's Association Hall of Fame. He was recently featured in Bakersfield Life magazine's "People to know in Kern County."
