Academic Preparation

The CSU identified six operational priorities to effectively implement Graduation Initiative efforts across the system. These areas were identified both through research and practice, as having significant impact on degree completion and student success. The first priority focuses on Academic Preparation.

The CSU is committed to providing all students, regardless of academic background, the opportunity and support needed to complete 30 college-level semester units (or 45 quarter units) before beginning their second academic year through a series of academic and student support programs. The EO 1110 Implementation Team is leading these efforts at CSU Bakersfield.
